I'm a little sad today with the announcement from Barbour that they are discontinuing their Heartsong line. That's where all five of us got our start in publishing. Labels: Barbour, Heartsong Presents

Colleen Coble writes romantic suspense with a strong atmospheric element. A lovable animal of some kind--usually a dog--always populates her novels. She can be bribed with DeBrand mocha truffles.
Denise Hunter writes women's fiction and love stories with a strong emotional element. Her husband says he provides her with all her romantic material, but Denise insists a good imagination helps too.
Diann Hunt writes romantic comedy and humorous women's fiction. She has been happily married forever, loves her family, chocolate, her friends, chocolate, her dog, and well, chocolate.
Cheryl Hodde writes romantic medical suspense under the pen name of Hannah Alexander, using all the input she can get from her husband, Mel, for the medical expertise. For fun she hikes and reads. Out of guilt, she rescues discarded cats. She and Mel are presently taking orders from four pampered strays.

I DID! I DID!!! I first read Kristin's and she was my new fave author. Then I read yours and found your other books. Then I read Denise, and Diann, and it just grew from there ... sad. :(

Oh, what sad news!!! I started out reading Heartsongs when I was in high school, and I remember reading them as fast as I could get my hands on them! Some great books are a part of that line...too bad it's coming to an end. :o(
I did. I actually found the books at a christian discount store and fell in love. I still buy them (I go to the second hand specifically for that! I get them for 10 cents!lol!) and enjoy them immensely. This is so sad!

for me, it was the 60's then the the 70's and some bookstores are shutting down, and just the other day I ran out of ERA laundry soap.

I found Hannah, Kristin, Coleen... well.. actually, ALL of you in Heartsong books. I subscribed to them for a number of years.
