Girls Write Out

I love reading Beth Moore's blog:   http://livingproofministries.blogspot.com. Her words always uplift and challenge me.

Currently, she is encouraging women to memorize Scriptures. That's something I used to do a lot more, but these days I'm not so disciplined. I'd like to get back to it.

Anyway, I thought it might be fun to share our favorite Scriptures. I'll start.

I have many "favorites," but this is ONE of my favorites:

Zephaniah 3:17--"The Lord your God is with you, He is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing."

How cool is that?!!! There are so many more, but I want to give you a chance to share yours. Let's encourage one another in the Lord today!

Ready, set, go!

"I will praise the Lord no matter what happens. I will constantly speak of his glories and grace. I will boast of all his kindess to me. Let all who are discouraged take heart. Let us praise the Lord together, and exalt his name." Psalm 34:1-3

Actually, I love the whole of Psalm 34, but the first 3 verses are the best.

"Philippians 4:13. . .I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." As a momma of 4 I find myself quoting that one a lot! ;-) I love Beth Moore's studies. . .off to check out that link!

Ditto, Diann! Zephaniah 3:17 has been my favorite verse since it helped me overcome one of my major fears. I love the poetry of the words -- the previous verses (15 and 16) are also beautiful.

The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us. We have seen His glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:8

What love, that He chose to be one of us so we could know Him more.
