It's great that Ashley has such staying power that she's worthy of new covers. And when are you going to do another Ashley book? Hmm?

A prisoner of hope,

Thanks for the enthusiasm girls! I'm excited they're getting cute, new covers -- as are the Spa Girls, but I'm really partial to the cartoon by Anne Keenan Higgins for Ashley. Those were the bomb. : )

Elle is so cute, she looks like a young Mary-Kate or Ashley. I personally love the original covers, but I would love to give my friend a signed copy of your books instead of always giving her my hand-me-downs. LOVE LOVE the Ashley Stockingdale books!!

I love your Ashley Stockingdale books! When I first read What a Girl Wants, it reminded me so much of my friend Ashley who wanted to be a lawyer and had a best friend named Seth. I gave her a copy of your book for her birthday, and now she loves your books too! I would be so excited if I could win the full set of your series.

Thank you,
Rebekah

Your books are AMAZING!!! When the Ashley series came out my friend (who manages the bookstore at our church) said I absolutely had to read the books. So I began what some now like to call an addiction. They're so great because as a single Christian young adult I can relate to so many things in your books. Anyway, we just keep passing them around an getting more and more people "addicted" to your writing. Don't stop!!! <3

Hey, if you want to be me when you grow up, you don't want to grow up. I like that in a person. ; )

Loved that series, Kristin...and I'd be delighted to have a signed set to give away so I don't have to share the ones I have! ;0)

I agree Kristin! The old covers are great! But hey I want to stay up with Ashleys new covers, and plus I use my chic books as my room decoration, so why not have two sets of the same books??? I can start my Ashley Stockingdale collection of each new set of covers that come out - after all they are my fav series... to have you sign them? I would be stoked!

Cool new covers. I have never liked reading and I have never read a book for fun until a friend of mine bought me the first Ashley book. I read the first book in like a week and then went and bought the others. By the time I got to "With This Ring...I Am Confused" I was so wrapped up in the book it took me a week to finish the last chapter because I didnt want the books to end. So now that there are new covers I want to read them again. HEHE!

Hey the new covers look great (but the cartoon ones are fab too) I so need another set of these books because my set is always being 'borrowed' by friends and I never get to read them (over and over again like I love to) I really hope you write another Ashley book - seems like there is a lot of fans out there who would love one. :-)

I loved "With this ring..." and it was just included yesterday in a stack of uplifting books for my friend to read after her hip-replacement surgery. I'd love to check out the others, so pick me :-)

ok so I'm a ginormous fan of your books Kristen, but you already know that!! :-) I would love a new set, but since I already have 2! LOL... I would love to donate them to our book club here at church though... we're trying to start one, and these would be a great place to start! You could even come visit us! We're just east of Sacramento! That's... well, a 3 hour drive from you... or more... hahaha... oh well.. LOL.. Great new covers though! WOOHOO!! and seriously, i second that motion to commission you to write a 4th Ashley book. What would she name her children???

I love Ashley Stockingdale!! And 2 of my 3 are loaned out and may never return!! I've got my fingers crossed!!

And I'm agreeing with the other Annie- we need a 4th Ashley book!! Great same-named minds think alike.

Thanks,
Annie

I'm here to drive the odds up for winning and someone said free books from a favorite author!

I am with you, Kristin, in that I love the illustrations from your old book covers. I still have my magnet on the fridge from the first series because I live in a house full of men! This is my girly thing (also have a Power Puffs Girls magnet that says, "Back off boys!" ha

Oh my, I'd love to win these! I have read the first one and have the other two in my wish list, and I want them so much :)

At 8:54 PM, Blogger Rebecca Barlow said...

SO, would I be "hoarding" to hope for another set of your Ashley Stockingdale series???

Actually having another set would mean, as others have said...that I could keep my cute cartoon ones (I'm partial too) here at home! OK, yeah, that does sound a little like hoarding doesn't it??

My current set has travelled cross-country twice, once with my sister, and again with a friend. I had a guest from Sweden once who had time while she was here to read the first, then bought the entire set at a local christian bookstore to take home with her!

The Ashley series is my favorite series of all time! I also love the Spa Girls series. :) Monday, Oct. 29th is my 23rd birthday, so that would be really awesome and such a blessing to me. Yay! Thanks :)

Wow! 45 comments so far--guess winning is a long shot. But you never know. Count me in! Kris, I've finally gotten the chance to read one of your novels. We can't find them here in Greece, but a new teen in our church, an American whose dad is stationed here for a few years, brought SPLIT ENDS. She's been passing it around to the other gals, and they adore you. Yesterday, I finally got my chance at reading the book. What fun!

If I won, I'd pay for the overseas shipping.
